MLS academy, Homegrown players being exported

European clubs have just kicked off their 2020-21 seasons or are about to, and many Euro-Clubs have checked in on most of the MLS academy products and the “Homegrown Players”.

As MLS Next took off a couple of weeks ago in it’s debut, what we have here is essentially all the strides that came before it the new MLS Academy program. The bellow list, (that gets longer and longer every year), features some names you know, some new rising stars, and then everything in between.

Like always the huge majority of these players will be sent back to where they came from, but among the bellow names could be a surprise a new Alexi Lalas or a Tim Howard…
