The Zee Goalkeeper Academy, offers need-based financial assistance to goalkeepers based on eligibility to the extent possible with the funds available. If the number of players whose
families qualify for a scholarship could exceed the budget, we can’t guarantee funding for all keepers who meet eligibility.
We have made it very simple: Scholarships are given to families that have obtained and benefit for the same year financial aid from the youth soccer clubs they play for.
Scholarships will not be applied toward clinic or camp fees. Scholarship award for one year does not guarantee approval for the year after. Players must reapply each year.
To apply for financial assistance we will need an original copy/scan of the letter/email that your financial assistance request has been approved by the soccer club you child plays for. You can hand in this document in person or via email at email@example.com . The second step is that we will contact the soccer club treasurer and once that they confirm in writing that financial aid is effective for the current season, we will then take into consideration your application.
THE ZEE GOALKEEPER ACADEMY WILL BE GIVING FINANCIAL AID TO FIVE (5) GOALKEEPERS AND IS GIVEN TO THE FIRST 5 APPLICANTS THAT QUALIFY IN FULL.
All families who receive a scholarship award will be required to complete service hours. Families are expected to volunteer at least ONE (1) hour for every $50 of Financial Assistance that is granted to their children. This requirement can easily be met during academy setup or set-down, clinics, camps and other special events that the Zee Goalkeeper Academy hosts. Failure to complete the required service hours will terminate the scholarship award and/or the opportunity to apply for a future scholarship.
