Let’s meet the coaches:

Coach Dan Paulo is a goalkeeper coach with 20 years of experience. Dan is working with Semi-Pro, College and Academy goalkeepers. Dan holds a USSF C license and has a great influence on our academy goalkeepers.
Coach Kristian Shores is the Goalkeeper Coach at Thomas University in Georgia. Before starting her coaching career she played for both Daytona State College (NJCAA) and then 2 years in the NCAA Div. I with Jackson University. Kris still holds the conference record for the most saves in a single season. This will be Kristian’s 6th ZEE goalkeeper camp and we’re always very excited to have her with us.
Coach Jeremiah Hansen is a coach but also an active semi-pro goalkeeper. Coach Jay has been one of our resident goalkeeper coaches for nearly 2 years and during pre-season he works with our goalkeepers on strengthening and conditioning. Jay is an amazing communicator and one of the most well prepared soccer coaches in Central Florida.
Coach Rick Zucchi is the Executive Director of the ZEE Goalkeeper Academies present in the US and the UK and the owner of the ZEE Goalkeeper Gloves brand. Rick started coaching back in 1993 and has worked (working) with goalkeepers of all ages (Grassroots to Pro’s) and holds a UEFA outfield C license and a UEFA Goalkeeper A license, he has also attended all 4 levels of the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Diploma courses. His curriculum also includes 2 UEFA “Goalkeeper Coach” invitationals and a FIFA diploma in Soccer Medicine.
Luis Santos Zanelli
Coach Luis Santos Zanelli is this camps outfield coach and will be working with our goalkeepers on back-passing and redistribution solutions that have become a MUST for any advanced goalkeeper. I have personally watched Luis work with outfield players for hours and he is the man for the job!!
Coach Luis played professional soccer in South America for nearly 2 decades Playing in the 1st divisions of Peru and Colombia. Luis is also one of the official scouts for the Peruvian national soccer federation. At this time her is a coach member in the MLS Next advanced soccer program at Orlando City Soccer Club and works with 2 teams in different age groups and holds a USSF B license.

We are looking to add an additional 2 goalkeeper coaches to this already amazing roster of professionals.

The role of the goalkeeper has evolved more than any other role on the field and it has drastically. Goalkeepers in today’s soccer react a lot faster and deal with constant ball direction changes . To effectively adapt to these changes, Goalkeeper Gloves absorbent foam and specific 4mm German Latex for a quality grip have become more important than ever. The ability to get a fingertip touch on the ball and divert it away from the net has become vital. We will be handing out at our camp gloves that have these specs!

The 3 day training curriculum is not joke! It’s hard work… Yes, the keepers will have a lot of fun, but they’ll go home on December 30th with a huge package of “Goalkeeper-Intel” to take back to the gameday field.
Lot’s of new drills are being selected to use at this goalkeeper camp and we’ll be introducing everything the Modern Goalkeeper needs so that they tweak their goalkeeping.

The Academy administration is taking the Covid-19 pandemic very seriously and is following the CDC Considerations for Events and Gatherings by the book. At this time the State of Florida has one of the lowest infection rates in the country, but this is no excuse to lower our guard. The safety of our students, their families and our coaching staff is our priority.

Every morning prior to the camp session each student will have a temperature check. The students goalkeeper gloves will be disinfected with a “Safe” bio-chemical spray several times during the sessions. Students will not need to wear masks, however, social distancing will be enforced as much as possible.

Parents that desire to enter the training fields to take videos or photographs will have to wear a mask at all times.

Coach ratio is no larger than 8:1 (no more than 8 students per coach).
Because of the very low ratio player/coach your child will receive a LOT more attention to detailing, keepers will get more ball touches and saves under the VERY CLOSE attention of the coaches. We’re going to make this camp more like a week long private session!!
