ZEE Goalkeeper Academy Member Policy

Starting August 1st 2019, the ZEE Goalkeeper Academy LLC will be enforcing the following policy.
The new policy is designed to improve our academy members productivity, reduce absenteeism, and set clear and consistent expectations for goalkeepers.

Zee Goalkeeper Academy members are required to attend all their respective training sessions unless they have an appropriate excuse.
Once high school season starts, members who are on high school teams should give priority to high school practices and games. Please note that scheduling conflicts with other recreational activities (e.g. martial arts, dance, etc.) are NOT considered a valid excuse for missing practice.

Excused academy training absences for missed sessions require notification on behalf of the parents/guardians either via telephone/text message or email and will include:

Family emergencies, player medical illnesses or injury, or accidents
School functions
High school soccer games and practices
College entrance examinations
Religious events
Out-of-town vacations

Excessive absenteeism from academy training will eventually lead to the goalkeeper being removed from the academy.

At the ZEE Goalkeeper Academy all children deserve a chance to become amazing goalkeepers. Whether or not they get that chance ultimately depends on their parents.

The ZEE Goalkeeper Academy LLC reserves the right to refuse participation for any reason, except for reasons of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, political beliefs, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, or if all or part of an individual’s income is derived from any public assistance programs. Most importantly, majority of reasons include perpetual negative or abusive parent/guardian or player behavior or repeated late-monthly-payment.

Weather Policies:
The ZEE Goalkeeper Academy LLC will make all final decisions on the cancellation of training. If another local organization has cancelled, that does not guarantee that our Academy has made the same decision. If the City of Port Orange cancels all outdoor activity, then the Goalkeeper Academy will follow this ordinance.

We will seek to make all final decisions on the cancellation of training by 3:30 PM, though training may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the Academy Director.

In the event of rain (not storm related) , we will continue on as scheduled with training.
